The Greater Newburyport CSA is a multi-farm CSA. We have created an alliance with accomplished growers who are either certified organic or growing organically. By supporting us, you're helping to sustain multiple small farm growers in their quest to provide quality produce to people in the Greater Newburyport area. Together, we'll provide you with a colorful array of vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers that are fresh-picked and grown without contaminants. |
Welcome New CSA Program Members! Thank you for choosing to spend the 2010 Summer CSA season with us! We look forward to providing you with fresh, certified organic vegetables, herbs, and flowers on a weekly basis from mid June through the end of October. Thank you too to all of our returning members. We're extraordinarily grateful for your continued support. We are Certified Organic Certified organic means that a third party (in our case Baystate Organic Certifiers) has verified that we are growing the food you'll eat in accordance with National Organic Standards. Food with a Cause One of our growing partners recently surprised and inspired us with an incredibly generous offer. Peter and Pauliina Swartz of West Newbury will donate this season's berry proceeds to an organization we feel privileged to support - New England Primate Sanctuary. If you'd like to help the Sanctuary, consider purchasing your strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries during our CSA program distribution hours. (You don't need to be a member to purchase the special items on our Food with a Cause table...) 2010 Summer CSA Shares Still Available For anyone interested in a small, large, or gift share, we still have a limited number available for the upcoming season.
